Always Remembered
THE RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Hope
Hope was born on 9/16/2009 at Pom Prints Rescue. Her Mommy Fancy is a puppy mill rescue. She was the runt of the littler and was week when she was born. She also had some trouble breathing when she was born. We named her Hope because we were praying and hoping all would work out. We took her to the vet and everything was looking good. She was fine until about 2 am on 9/18/2009. She quit nursing so we tried to bottle feed her. She would not take the bottle. We then started feeding her with an eye dropper every two hours. She slowly went down hill and finally passed away at 2:27 pm on 9/18/2009.
Kindra
Kindra was rescued from a puppy mill and came to Pom Prints on 2/28/2009. On 3/6/2009 Kindra was spay and had a dental done. She had to have every tooth in her mouth removed due to being severely infected. The infection went to her heart and she went into congestive heart failure (CHF). Kindra passed peacefully on 3/11/2009. She will be missed, she was a wonderful little dog. She gave kisses and wagged her tail until the end.
