We are so happy with Bentley!  He fits right in!   He is house broken, does tricks, and is so playful.  In 22 years of living in this house, my husband had NEVER walked the streets, now, he is out walking Bentley!  It is so funny!  Louis and he are getting along fine.  Not a problem.  One big happy family!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! WE ARE SO HAPPY!!!

 Update on Sweetie

6/19/2010

Sorry I haven’t sent anything on Sweetie in a long time.  She is doing great!  Where do I start she keeps us on our toes. We didn’t have to worry when we had all that snow about our fence but then she became an escape artist. We redid the fence around the bottom, made all the opening on the gates smaller, put chicken wire around our other porch so she couldn’t go thru the slats.  Then just sat down and ask her to show us where there was still a place she could get out of. We think  we have it all taken care of. What I did learn is she never got punished for sneaking out, she always got a treat for coming back, not that she went far but it only takes a second for somebody to pick her up or hit her. Just usually in the next door neighbor’s yard but wouldn’t come when I called her I would have to go get her. Well since she got a treat for coming back I would just say want a treat and she would come running. She has finally decided she like a leash. So we go for a walk at least once a day. She is sitting at the gate ready to go. She has to sit for her leash it didn’t take long for her to catch on to that. Had her to the vet she gained a pound so we really have to watch on the treats.  She also has her chip. But I still can’t thank-you enough for bringing her into our lives. Her favorite toy is my winter glove just the right hand not the left hand how she can tell the difference I have no idea. She just truly makes us laugh all the time with those little eyes looking at you. She likes to go see Julie our groomer and get pampered  like a little lady. Still keeping an eye on her back legs vet said she  still doing ok but I know she will probably need something done. Katie our shy black one won’t go for a walk.  But Sweetie and Annie are always ready to go. One of our funniest times is about 11: 00 when we go to bed she thinks its play time. She jumps up on you and looks down into your eyes and says play with me.
She will jump from one to the other and makes a game out it and when she looks down at you with those little eyes you can’t say no. Or she jumps down to the floor mind you there is a love seat at the bottom of our bed then there is a dog bed so she has step to get down to the floor she circles the bed at a run jumps back up onto the bed then on top of you again she looks at you with those eyes and it is so funny. When she finally goes to sleep it is upside down just like Annie on the loveseat. I could go on forever she’s great. WE LOVE HER!!!!

Thanks- Janet

Update on Slater

6/7/2010

Hi Lori~

Little Slater is doing so well after his vet visit this week.  He is actually thriving.  He is eating heartily, and taking his meds.   His personality is beginning to shine, and he has become quite the Momma's boy.  He wants to be wherever I am and follows me like a little shadow.   He is adorable and I love having him here with his brother and sister.  He is getting the hang of the running part of "fetch" and loves chasing Chi Chi around the yard when we play.  I finally heard his "big dog" bark, and it kind of startled me coming from such a small creature.  I welcome it though, as I like when my little "guard Poms" are doing their job and alerting me of noises and things.  It's comforting when you live alone to have such good "protection."  Lol!

My heart is full of love for him and I do think he gives it back in return with each passing day.  He is my perfect little addition and completes my life.

I hope all is well with you!

Update on Marley

5/24/2010

Hi Lori

just wanted to keep you posted and let you know that Marley is still doing great...i attached some pics of him and Kaden (excuse his messy room LOL)

We could not of asked for a better dog everyone says he's so cute my mom and dad thinks he's a great dog too they were very skeptical at first my dad doesn't like dogs but he's warming up to him. Marley likes my mom she comes over and lets him out if I'm running late from work he's such a sweet dog we go for walks now and he's good on the leash and loves it and he's still playing fetch

I took him to petsmart to get a bath and his nails cut last Tuesday and they said he did great and that he was very good dog

Thanks again

Alicia, Kaden and Marly

Thank you Alicia for the update and pictures!
