 Hello Lori


     Well after I gave Frank, Magpie and Chechi a few weeks to get use to having me around (I was very good--quiet and well behaved) I then let the real me out --- STRONG, INDEPENDENT and the "BOSS".
    I walk around the house giving orders and keeping them all in line. I have claimed two places in the house as mine -- and if you can't find me, just look in one of those places

                   1. Frank's leather chair in his bedroom (especially if there are clothes on it)

 2. top of Frank's pillow on his bed (of course after the bed is made)

I received my own stainless steel bowl to match Mag's and Che's, new collar and leash and a new tag with my name and phone number on it. But my best new gift is a comfy, black coat --- embroidered on the back with the words "Little Pain in the Ass" --- "I try to be" it ensures that people know I am here and plan to stay. We have really good food to eat ------ Wellness -- for our dry food -- we only eat the light - to keep our waistlines Natural Balance -- turkey or lamb and my favorite is fresh real chicken for a special treat - we get home made treats. One day I went to work with Frank and I was the hit of the place (naturally) I stayed on my best manners all day --- it took all my concentration. I love our walks everyday to the park----we do some of the trails (somedays we have to cut them a little short--when Mag starts to wear out---she is going to be 13 years old) usually she goes the distance. The days that Frank works, we have a walker- his name is Bill - he even takes us in the rain----when we get home we get a good rub down with big terry towels. All in All "its a hard life" but somebody has to do it, might as well be me...

 THANK YOU for bringing me here -- I feel that I have always lived here.

Hi!  So finally I’m getting around to sending her photo!  Harley is doing very well.  She travels to Virginia with us when we see the kids and so far has done 3 trips.  We took her to a local vet (nothing was wrong just wanted to establish a file record for her) and she’s doing just fine.

Lady is about to finish her Canine Good Citizen class. Her test will be in Oct or Nov. She is expected to ace it. She has sailed through all of her courses. I am so proud of her! She is such a sweet girl. The groomer comes out of the shop if we go by to pet her. LOL...she is such a flirt. I have not met anyone yet that she has not charmed. My Vet is not immune to the charms..and ends up with her in her lap too. She is a perfect positive representative for the breed. I have been so blessed by her entering my life. THANK YOU.

Sammy and Zoey

Hi there!

 
Zoey  and Sam walk 2 miles or more in the morning and then often we take them for a ride and or walk in a different park. They love the car rides and  are very sociable. 
Just wanted you to know that the dogs are adjusting beautifully.

Sam has lost weight. She weighed 14 pounds in June and weighed 12 pounds Aug. 28th. She still is fat but can run  and play with Zoey and breathes so much better. We had  to increase Zoey's feed because she lost some weight .with all that excercise
 
We just wanted you to know that they are loved and cared for.

 Hello!  I just wanted  to give you an update on snowball.she is a nice,sweet little girl who is a mamma's girl.

  she love's  to play outdoors. She can be a little dirty dog  but nothing a bath can't fix. snowball and ryder get along very well.

          she tries to be the boss of my other dog fetee but he just ignores her.lol.  she gets along well with the kids.

                     SHE IS A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY!!!!

Thank you for the card : )    Sammy is doing great!  He loves and protects the kiddos and is great friends with our two cats....they love to play tag.  Sammy loves going for car rides, going for long walks and to the dog park.  He loves joining the kids in their kiddie pool on these hot summer days, he likes jumping in the bathtub with them too.  He is definitely like our third child and we can't really remember what life was like without him.  Sammy loves sitting under the table with his head in Kaelynn's lap because she loves to share her meals with him : )    John loves taking Sammy for long walks at my in-laws' because they have old farm land.  Sammy loves it out there, so we try to go down once a week so he can soak up the fresh country air.  Sammy lays at the foot of our bed most nights, but loves to cuddle up against our pillows with us.  He loves when Michael comes home from work and greets him at the door with a great big kiss. : )

Snickers

Hi Lori,

 Snickers if fitting in just fine.  He was developing stress "hot spots" at first but with medication and time he has done much better.  He still licks like mad at times but - better.

 

He must have belonged to a little old lady who took him every where at one time.  He goes absolutely berserk if he sees me pick up my purse and car keys!  We've had to devise a way to get out of the house so he doesn't see that otherwise he is so frantic and barks barks barks. That gets Bobby into the "that's not how we do it little guy" mode where he tries to correct him.

 

He is now playing with Sassy & Bobby.  They grab and growl and tug with each other.  Snickers thinks it's great fun to go underneath Bobby and make him whip around trying to catch him.  The big dogs are very gentle with him but he stands his ground.  The hind leg thing makes him look fierce he thinks.  :-)

 

When he barks so frantically it sounds like rusty hinges.  We've been toying with changing his name to Rusty for that reason.  He's also rust colored so that would be another.  Snickers just doesn't seem to suit his fiesty outlook on life.

 

He does love belly rubs and does love to be right where we are.  That's one thing I've always loved about Poms.

Sami and Zoey

We had them groomed. They are adjusting  and just about house brokes. The 4th doesn't help with all the bang bang...

We take them for walks everyday. They love to go for car rides and they are getting to feel like tjis is their home.

They bark when something  passes their "territory" as if to say.. "I live here !"

I put two chairs together and made a long cushionthat fits them they sleep there while I am at the computer.

Sam goes to the door now when she wants to go out to "P" Zoey follows suit but still have to keep an eye on her

In the evening  they each have picked the chair they likedand we all watch TV together.

It breaks my heart that  poor Zoey especailly doen't know how to play and she still is hesitant  if we ask her to come..she just stands  and stares.

I have been saying ..softly "peek- a -boo"  instead of .."Zoey come" and she is slowy coming around..

She is a precious  jewel. and we will be gentle ..I warmed my heart today when she put her paw on my arm to say  hello.  She miust have been abused  alot.. somewhere

Sam is amazing  and I doubt ever abused she has already made her self at home and  is  quite the charmer.

 I keep  my eye on her when feeding  as she will eat Zoey's too. Now  she just watches and waits until Zoey has had enough..

Then I  give  Sam a couple pieces  for being good. By doing this and walking 2 miles everyday Sam has lost weight

not much ..it will take awhile.. :D

Rusty

Hi a few pictures of Rusty.  He is doing great!   We love him more each day.  He looks like he has gained weight but only about 2 pounds, but his fur has exploded!  His food aggression is just about gone.  He knows that he always has food.  He has become a escape artist and we have taken steps to block his escape routes.  He went on his first trip to Baltimore Maryland to visit relatives.  My daughter has 2 chihuaua's and 5 acres of land, he had a ball with his cousins Bella and Chenyl.  As you can see from one of the pictures he is a Penguin fan.  He loves to play ball and frisbee.
